Loan Modifications
Even if you never contact our office, I have to ask you one thing: please do not pay anyone to do a loan modification for you. Save your money. You can do it yourself or go to NACA's Home Save Program and they will help you at no charge. NACA is the only organization (that I know of) that has successfully modified mortgages and reduced principal in a very reasonable time period. They have agreements in place with most of the major lenders to streamline the process and get you the help you need. And their assistance is free! You can even do it online. Go to their website today - you have nothing to lose.
I know that some people are getting the run-around from their mortgage companies or don't understand the legal mumble-jumble that these modifications are littered with. I have helped numerous people get through the loan modification process and realize that although you don't need an attorney helping you - it helps your peace of mind to know that someone understands what is being sent and can explain it to you. It helps to get an opinion whether the offer they are giving is a good one and one that you should accept. It helps to know whether the offer will simply delay the inevitable and it's really not a good deal. I will help you with all of that at no charge. Yes, you read "no charge." There are no strings attached to our help. There are no hidden legal fees that will pop up later. None. No charge, no strings, and the last thing I usually have to say is "no kidding."
I'm doing this because I know that the loan modification process is frustrating and daunting. Most of the time you submit applications over and over again because the mortgage company lost your file or you missed one paper and they just scraped your application because of it. We can't keep your mortgage company from losing your file but we can make sure that your application is 100% complete when you send it so that it doesn't get rejected or closed because of missing paperwork (unless they lose the paperwork which is known to happen often). But we'll help you through the process and explain the modification offer to you if you are offered one. We'll let you know what that fine print says and how it will affect you for the life of the loan.
Why do we do this free? Because I hate creditors and mortgage companies that put shady deals together. I am all for legislation that forces lenders to do the right thing now. Although they are not forced to participate, many lenders are doing the right thing and offering modifications that are pretty decent offers. Although I can't guarantee any results because at the end of the day, the lenders hold all the decision-making cards, I can help you put your application package together, keep my fingers crossed through the process with you, and review and explain the modification package to you when it arrives. If you didn't know what you were signing the first time, you will know the second time and the final decision is yours but with a full understanding of what the offer is, you can make the best decision for you and your family.
Call our office now and take us up on our offer to help you with your loan modification for FREE. We have evening and Saturday appointments available for residents of South Broward, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Plantation and Weston at our Davie Office.
I know that some of you are thinking "if it sounds too good to be true, it's not." To that I simply say call us and set your appointment. I believe in giving back to the community and you have nothing to lose except the confusion of loan modifications.
